What was up with Jessica Lange's face? She looked she's been channeling Joan Rivers.
What's up with all of the cocaine jokes? There were a number of them....all about not doing it any more.
What's up with all the men and their silly earrings? At least three actors were wearing, not one but two earings. They all looked silly....like extras from a pirate movie.
What was up with Tiki Barber's eye make-up in the red carpet show? He looked like he had gone to RuPaul's make-up person. Put on a wig and he might have been pretty....if you can get past the Chiclet teeth.
And what can you say about an awards show that starts with JLo and introduces her as an "actress"?

Uh huh. probably enough C was done last night that the proceeds could have funded your typical 3'rd world nation for a month. In fact, that Rogen guy was likely tooting it up right before he got on stage and made that joke attempt about Rourke.

even though Colin Farrel looked somewhat cleaned up (he also made a cocaine comment), he still scratches his scalp like crazy, as if he has lice or is going through some kind of substance withdrawal.

he was happier though than this time last year, when the Giants team he had dissed was on the cusp of an NFL trophy; earlier in the day yesterday his old Giants team went down somewhat ingloriously. He meanwhile is well into his new career as an entertainment news whore.

Rumor was that the show was supposed to start with a Brangelina joint appearance on stage. Late in the game they demurred and J-Lo gladly accepted to stand in. One report noted the crowd virtually ignored her pleas to quiet down; "Momma talking now.....", she implored........

I loved her as Selena. Frankly, I think she's a fairly decent actress. She was in a cop movie too...can't remember the name, but I remember liking it. I don't know why a lot of people don't like her.

Talking to myself: I still think she is a curious choice for opening an awards show as she is a minor actress at best, not a nominee and hasn't had either a hit film or hit record in a little while. What makes sense is that she was a gracious last minute replacement. Kudos to her.

Heh, "has spent time," I like that. An unwittingly apt description. As if she was some rube touring the Prado, scratching her ass and braying, "Shore got some pretty pitchers in this joint!"
Acting is a craft, and though there are degrees of dedication to the craft, ultimately you've either got a clue or you ain't. Drive-by slebs trading screen time for box office mojo have no craft, thus they are not actors.

what do you mean "gracious"? She was lucky to be aksed.

More so they decided to start off with some glamourized, slutty eye candy, had Lopez don a slightly more elegant update to her attention- whorish Grammy turn several years ago. You work with what you got........
